With an expected release date of January 12, 2018.. Who doesn't want to know all about that chimichanga eating, pepperoni faced love machine!!
infact it is rumored that is exactly what the Deadpool 2 working title will be "Deadpool 2: Love Machine"...Oops did we let the cat out of the bag? While we are at it, here are a couple of other spoilers heard around the watering hole:
Who's returning for the sequel?
well it's a no brainer, that tall sexy living and breathing Deadpool character will be played by none other than Ryan Seacrest...Oh wait wrong Ryan.....Ryan Reynolds...Duh!!
Also possibly returning are Morena Baccarin as Wade's partner Vanessa Carlysle, and TJ Miller has said that he 'believes' that he'll be back as sidekick Weasel, but it hasn't officially been confirmed.
Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and taxi driver Dopinder (Karan Soni) are all in line to return as well.
Directors and Writers?
We will be in good hands with returning writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who promise to keep the Deadpool storyline all honky dory and all that Deadpool jazzed for us.
The only one not returning is Tim Miller, who first signed on to direct Deadpool back in April 2011, and it was his feature directorial debut. Unfortunately, Miller has departed after differing with Reynolds on the direction of the film. This may or may not have had something to do with the tone and the casting of Cable and may or may not have been 'amicable' depending on who you ask. But what do you expect when you're dealing with Deadpool?!
Stepping up to the Directors plate however is John Wick director David Leitch who we will see if he can hold strong to the Deadpool vision
New love interest for Deadpool?
Cable: Cable could be easily described as being one of the more complicated characters from the history of Marvel Comics. First introduced in 1986, he was established as the child of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor (a clone of Jean Grey), and due to machinations involving Apocalypse and Mister Sinister was infected with a deadly techno-virus. With no other options available to save the young Nathan Summers, it was agreed that the child would be sent to and grow up in the future, where a cure would be available. Being a mutant with incredible telekinetic and telepathic abilities, he grew up to be incredibly strong (taking on the name Cable) and eventually time traveled to the past in order to try and right the world and prevent a horrific future. Now he will be partnering with and for the time being totally pissed off and annoyed by Deadpool.
It is also rumored that Domino – another mercenary mutant type with a long association with both Deadpool and Cable – is being planned to make her on-screen debut in the movie. The Martian's Mackenzie Davis is apparently being eyed for the role.
Because the project is in such an early stage, we really don’t know anything about the official plot of the sequel, but one significant presence has been confirmed: Cable. The muscly, giant gun-toting mutant has co-starred in many comic series over the years, the most significant being Fabian Nicieza’s "Cable & Deadpool" from 2004. It’s unclear if Deadpool 2 will be any kind of direct adaptation of a particular arc, or if it will be an original story. One thing we do know is that it will continue to be funny as hell and have the same level of bizarre as the first film.
